Another significant milestone for progressive ‘Park’

Presently, the focus of the soccer world is on the Women’s World Cup, which comes to a conclusion this weekend – a positive development given all the attention the men’s game receives. 

Regionally, The Avondhu catchment is well served when it comes to promoting ‘the beautiful game’ with Mitchelstown, Fermoy, Kilworth, Watergrasshill and Tallow all possessing very strong clubs. 

Brigown Park is home to Park United in Mitchelstown. Established in 1975, it has been developed from a green field site, to what it is today – a state of the art facility that allows for football to be played all year round.
