The principal of the CBS Primary school in Mitchelstown has made it known that she will retire from the school at Easter.
Principal Mary O’Callaghan notified the school’s board of management and the Parents Council of her decision, at a meeting earlier this week.
Mary’s association with CBS Primary spans over three decades.
She began her teaching career working with Junior Infants in Kilinarden, Tallaght and then spent four years at Kildorrery National School.
