In recognition of their invaluable service to the community of Castlelyons and district over many years, Castlelyons Community Council will make a presentation and host a social evening at Castlelyons Community Centre Bar on Easter Sunday night.
The occasion is to honor retiring business owners Liam and Margaret Martin (Martin’s Bakery) and Bob and Joan McNamara (McNamara’s Shop) who will be guests of honor for the evening.
It is hoped that many villagers and indeed the wider community will take time out to attend this unique and well deserved accolade for what were two great pillars of our community.
