
Doneraile Court and Estate are set for further works in 2025, as it was confirmed that repairs to the boundary wall, garden works, and renewal of some of the interior exhibits and the upgrading of the public bathrooms, are due this year.
In a recent parliamentary question issued by Cork North West TD John Paul O’Shea, he asked the Minister for Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform for an update on the delivery of the Conservation Management Plan for Doneraile House and Court.
Deputy O’Shea, in particular, sought an update on the construction of an orangery at the house which would greatly enhance the historical authenticity and visitor experience at Doneraile.
