Popular Kilworth bar, The Village Inn, was rocking last Sunday evening as the best of local talent came together for what organisers termed ‘The Big Fat Sunday Session’.
A fundraiser for ‘The Hub’ in Fermoy, the event attracted performers from within and outside the parish.
Some of those who did the entertaining included Kilworth’s own Sandie Gubbins, The Clondulaners, The Donnellans, The Leddys, The Donovans, Grass Margin, Mike O’Brien, Fiona Ahern, Mo O’Connor and The Acoustic Society.
They were joined along the way by members of Kilworth Folk Group and a variety of other special guests.
