Deputies Tom Barry and David Stanton were selected – uncontested – as the two candidates to contest the next general election for Fine Gael in Cork East.

Deputies Tom Barry and David Stanton were selected – uncontested – as the two candidates to contest the next general election for Fine Gael in Cork East.

A capacity crowd gathered at Garryvoe Hotel to witness the signing of the party pledge by the two sitting TDs and formally nominated candidates, before chairperson Deirdre Clune MEP, Sean Kelly MEP and numerous Fine Gael councillors and party members.
