‘Team Amber’ which was made up of 40 runners, including eight teams of five runners, participated in the relay section of the race.

The group consisted of Amber employees and family members, with representatives from a number of service stations including Fermoy, Limerick Road, Tipperary, Glounthaune, Dungarvan, Youghal, Horse & Jockey, Thurles and the Amberley Nursing Home.

Amber Petroleum was established in Fermoy in 1980 by the Fitzgerald family. Since that time, it has grown to become one of the largest fuel retailers in Munster, with a successful, dynamic and growing network of service stations, supplying 45 sites across nine counties.

Amber employees chose Enable Ireland and COPE Foundation as this year’s beneficiaries due to their personal involvement with the two charities. Well done to everyone concerned.
