Mellerick's Pharmacy, Fermoy has another string to its bow with the official opening of their new Express Beauty Bar. The occasion was marked with a celebratory party last Saturday afternoon. A magician, balloon artist and face painter were all pressed into service during an event that generated plenty of interest and increased footfall at this spacious and attractively laid out pharmacy. A range of confectionery was also served as well as delicious portions of strawberries and cream.
While children were entertained, interested adults were invited to view the impressive beauty rooms where some of the treatments available include waxing, eyelash tinting, eyebrow tinting, false eyelash application, pedicure and instant tan. Heading up this part of the business is Triona O'Regan, a qualified beautician and nail technician. To coincide with the official opening, all beauty treatments were half price for the day.
