Fermoy Goes Country, goes great

Organisers promised ‘bigger and better’ and that’s what Fermoy Goes Country 2026 was. The ‘value for money’ argument also stood up, with €30 giving patrons over 6 hours of live entertainment in Fitzgerald Park, featuring some of the top names in country and Irish music.

Responding to observations from last year’s event, the temporary dance floor, situated in front of the main stage, was extended – it may need further expansion, such were the number of dancers this year.

In a further tweak, more seating was provided in the form of very robust, old style benches, which did the job perfectly.
