
Kilbehenny’s Aoibheann Clancy is getting ready to take the next major step in her soccer career, after signing for English WSL2 club, Watford FC.
The Irish international midfielder has completed a permanent transfer from Shelbourne for an undisclosed fee. Watford announced the signing on Monday, August 3rd, subject to international clearance.
The move will bring the 22-year-old into England’s full-time professional game for the first time, shortly after finishing up her degree in Health & Performance Science in UCD.
