Great credit has been extended to the school community of Fermoy’s Gaelscoil de hÍde, by principal Tomás Ó Sé, manager of Kerry U20 footballers, whose side recently clinched the All-Ireland title.

“Without the support of the teachers, staff and parents here, I couldn’t do what I’m doing,” he told The Avondhu.

On Saturday, May 30th, Kerry overcame Tyrone with a 0-21 to 1-10 win in the Dalata Hotel Group All-Ireland U20 football final. While the win looked unlikely in the first quarter with Tyrone taking the lead, Kerry got a second wind and from the 20th minute, outscored Tyrone to secure the cup.
