These are exciting times in Castletownroche. The village has never looked better, due in no small way to the efforts of the TidyTowns group. Major inroads have been made to tackle dereliction and local businesses continue to thrive.
Last weekend was especially busy with the staging of a 2-day summer festival that presented patrons with a package that included music, sport, market stalls, novelty games and children’s entertainment. The village centre teemed with life as people of all ages made the most of what has been a fantastic spell of weather.
