Huge thanks are extended to everyone who made Bartlemy’s Big Breakfast such a huge success. Close on 200 people enjoyed a hearty breakfast on Sunday last.
A big ‘thank you’ to everyone who turned up and supported our novel fundraiser. In particular, a special thank you to all the people and businesses who sponsored the food on the day, which meant 100% of the takings on the day went straight to the Bartlemy Parish Hall Renovation Fund for ‘Project 2026’. We are most grateful to Ray and SPAR Rathcormac, Alan Fitzgerald, Liam and Sean O’Brien, Danny Ryan, MGC, the Carey family, Esther O’Keeffe, Linda Ahern, Sheila Mulcahy and Carmel Dooley.
For 65 years Bartlemy Parish Hall has been the hub of our community. We’ve hosted dances, concerts, school plays, bingo nights, quiz nights, dance and keep-fit classes, drama festival nights, coffee mornings, birthday parties, communion celebrations, funeral gatherings, the Stations, meetings for various organisations, GAA training sessions, reunions and Oskar filming, book and CD launches, parent and baby groups, school indoor PE classes, Bible studies, prayer meetings, drama ‘fit-ups’, fundraisers and much, much more. Who would have thought.
