2 year old Mitchelstown native Paddy Brophy has joined the ranks of Ireland’s youngest social media stars, after a heartwarming TikTok video racked up more than one million views.
The viral clip, posted by his mother Laura Connolly, shows little Paddy kitted out in his work pants, lending a hand at bricklaying alongside his grandad, mucking up with his trowel out of his little blue wheelbarrow. To date, the video has gathered more than 38,000 likes and 1,500 comments, sparking delight among viewers worldwide.
Speaking to The Avondhu, his mother admitted that the overnight success of the video clip was entirely unplanned.
