Cork Marts have declined to respond to multiple queries from The Avondhu on their plans for development at the site of the former mart on George’s Street in Mitchelstown, despite the fact that planning permission was granted in April with no movement visible at the site yet.
There is limited capacity at the existing Mitchelstown wastewater treatment plant, and as the council say it is a case of ‘first come, first served’, it would appear that the 48 units that Cork Marts were granted permission for are ‘taking up’ the capacity that exists …
