Members of Araglen Pony Club past and present were in the local community field last Sunday for an event celebrating the club’s 30th anniversary.
The occasion also saw the official opening of the club’s new sand arena, which has been finished to a very high standard. Paula O’Donovan, who was MC, welcomed everyone in attendance. An active member of the club, she performed her duties in a very able manner.
The first speaker was Mary Allen, another dedicated ‘veteran’ who has spent countless hours instructing and encouraging young riders.
