Gardaí are investigating a number of criminal damage incidents which occurred in Lismore on Hallowe’en night.
It is understood that youths targeted a number of cars in the heritage town area, resulting in broken wing mirrors on a number of vehicles. Fireworks were also allegedly set off in the area and locals in Lismore reported that homes had been ‘egged’ on the night.
“I know some houses on main street got egged and a door was kicked and broken. It’s not on at all. They were shooting them big bangers out of a car and they are so loud and frightening,” one person said.
