Drugs haul by North Cork gardaí

Gardaó patrolling on the M8 near Mitchelstown stopped a car of alleged Dublin drug traffickers and in the process, smashed a drug dealing network.

A garda spokesman said that members of the Fermoy Roads Policing Unit stopped a car on the motorway.

During a search of that car, officers found €20,000 of cannabis herb and €1,000 in cash stashed in the boot.
