Councillors have lashed out at plans for a wind farm on council land as they said residents were ‘living in fear’.
In strongly worded comments, the Fermoy Municipal District meeting heard how the people of Bottlehill are ‘petrified’ of the proposed 22 turbine plan.
It includes four giant windmills to be placed on council-owned land, each generating 4.5 Mega Watts of power and an income for Cork County Council.
