3 open days planned for Teagasc Moorepark

Following the easing of Covid-19 restrictions, it has been possible to organise 3 consecutive open days at the Teagasc Moorepark facility in Kilworth (Tuesday, 14th Sept; Wednesday, 15th Sept and Thursday, 16th Sept).

Admission is free, but attendees must register at www.teagasc.ie/moorepark21 and produce their EU Covid-19 certificates on the day. 

GREAT TO BE BACK

The forthcoming open days represent a huge step forward, after what were necessary, but very restrictive Covid-19 regulations. Organisers are looking forward to seeing substantial crowds, however, they are encouraging everyone to be responsible and to adhere to guidelines. 

GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO MEET THE EXPERTS

Teagasc Moorepark is a world leader in dairy research and the open days afford members of the public a perfect opportunity to interact with a whole host of specialists. The theme next week is ‘Delivering Sustainability’ and topics will include: environmental sustainability, farm profitability, grassland management and breeding strategies.

Numerous demonstrations and workshops will be hosted in a series of themes villages.
