New pay parking machines installed in Fermoy have seen 20% of payments being made by card to date.
IPS upgrade kits have been installed at six pay parking machines in the town to facilitate card payments. The recently upgraded machines are located at MacCurtain Street, Pearse Square, Lower Patrick Street, Brian Boru Square, Mill Island Car Park and the Library Car Park.
While several machines in the town have been upgraded to accept both cash and card payments, a number have not to date, accepting only coin payments.
