Limerick native and Ballybeg resident, Assumpta Roche, assisted by family and friends, received wonderful support at last Thursday’s drive thru coffee morning in aid of Marymount.

In its 29th year, the fundraiser, which was traditionally an ‘in house’ event, went ‘drive thru’ during Covid restrictions.

“The drive thru format worked well during Covid and we’ve stuck with it, the layout of the yard means people can drive in, make a donation, receive their scones, and are able to keep going. We’ve been very busy since around 8.30am and things have gone very well,” Assumpta told The Avondhu, when we dropped in.
