Stack’s Allcare Pharmacy in Fermoy were ready for business on Friday last as they held an Open Day and Customer Appreciation Event.

From 9am until 6pm, the local pharmacy saw customers coming and going as the event also marked the official unveiling of the refurbished store.

In December 2022, Cillian O’Herlihy took over the pharmacy and since then, a focus has been put on refurbishing and upgrading the store.

“I bought the pharmacy in December of last year and since then, we refitted the whole shop and did the outside. We essentially gutted everything and started over again. We’re trying to modernise the pharmacy while keeping the core principals and core values that Stacks’ has always maintained,” he said.

CUSTOMER LOYALTY

Situated at 1 MacCurtain Street in the heart of the town, Stack’s Allcare Pharmacy has been a staple in the community for many years, offering friendly and professional advice on all healthcare queries.

“Stack’s has been here for quite a while. It’s more of a generational pharmacy. We have people who have been coming here since they were kids who are now into their 90s and their families would come here as well, so it’s wonderful to see that.

“Since refurbishing the place, it’s been great. All our regulars are still coming here and we have new people calling in to see what’s going on too,” Mr O’Herlihy said.
