Well supported concert in aid of 200 year old church

After 200 years service, the physical structure that is the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tallow has served the people of west Waterford well.

Showing obvious signs of wear and tear, this historic place of worship is now in need of some important remedial works. 
This specialist overhaul won’t come cheap however and the first of what will be a series of fundraisers took place in Tallow Community Centre last Saturday night.

FR GERRY ENCOURAGED BY LOCAL RESPONSE

Speaking prior to the show, Fr Gerry McNamara said it was ‘heartening and encouraging’ to see the response from parishioners.
