Fermoy poet’s work of welcome to adorn Direct Provision centres nationwide

George O'Keefe with his poem, 'Hello Friend'.

A poem written by a Fermoy native welcoming those who come to Ireland seeking refuge, safety and sanctuary, is to be displayed in Direct Provision centres across the country.

St. Joseph’s is the first centre in Ireland which will proudly hang the poem in their reception area.
