Two West Waterford GAA clubs were again targeted by vandals over the weekend, with significant damage caused in both cases.
According to a Lismore GAA committee member, their club is now facing thousands of euro worth of damage after their clubhouse was again targeted. It is understood that vandals have broken windows by throwing rocks through the double-glazed units.
Lismore GAA Club has now been a victim of several instances of vandalism.
In March, The Avondhu also reported on an incident in which windows at their premises were smashed.

On this occasion, the clubhouse was also subject to some flood damage as a committee member noted that one rock, which was thrown through a window, also smashed a toilet cistern.
