Two pubs in North Cork are under investigation by gardai after inspections discovered that they were allegedly serving alcohol without food. 

The pubs, which are in the Cork North division, were visited by gardai during a specialist operation monitoring public houses. 

Sources told The Avondhu that the two pubs could face significant problems in their upcoming license applications in court. 

“Gardai have discovered that two public houses were pretending to serve food. Both pubs are in rural areas in the greater North Cork area.
