The farming community – and tractor owners in particular – once again came good for the annual Anglesboro tractor run held on Wednesday, December 27.
Conditions were cold and dry for this annual fundraiser which over the years has raised thousands of euros for deserving causes – on this occasion, monies collected went towards the purchase of a new 'People's Bus', which operates out of Our Lady's Day Care Centre in Ballylanders and serves a large catchment area.
With a minimum of fuss and in an orderly fashion, tractors (grey, red and blue) departed the south Limerick village.
While there were a few vintage models, the bulk of machines were of the ultra-modern variety which made for a smooth and comfortable drive.
