There are few experiences that capture the heart and soul of Ireland quite like an evening at the Booley House. Combining outstanding traditional music, captivating storytelling and heartfelt song, the show continues to delight audiences from Ireland and across the globe.

From the moment the curtain rises, the audience is immersed in a celebration of Irish heritage. Talented musicians perform lively jigs, reels and beautiful Irish ballads, while the production also features a wonderful variety of dance, including Irish dance, set dancing, sean-nós dancing and brush dancing, showcasing the richness of Ireland’s culture and traditions.

One of the highlights of the evening is the storytelling. Resident seanchaí, James Lenane, has the audience hanging on every word as he shares humorous tales and memories of rural Irish life, blending history, wit and local tradition in a way that leaves the theatre echoing with laughter.

The show’s variety keeps the audience engaged throughout, with memorable musical performances, moving songs and moments of laughter, all delivered with warmth and professionalism. The atmosphere is welcoming and distinctly Irish, making visitors feel like honoured guests rather than spectators.

What makes the Booley House truly special is its commitment to preserving Irish culture. Many of its performers have gone on to international productions such as Riverdance and Lord of the Dance, while the show continues to invest in nurturing the next generation of traditional musicians and performers.

The Booley House is far more than a performance it’s an authentic celebration of Ireland’s rich cultural traditions. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a returning guest, an evening at the Booley House promises music that stirs the soul, stories that raise a smile and memories that will last long after the final encore.
