Terrific turnout of truck and tractors in Kilworth

Once again, the Kilworth Truck, Tractor & Vintage Run attracted lots of interest – this, despite last Sunday being another horrible day on the weather front.

The hall of Scoil Mhairtín National School was the focal point, with participants registering and paying the €20 entry fee. Indeed, the grounds of both Scoil Mhairtín and Kilworth GAA proved invaluable as adjacent fields, which would normally act as car parks, were unusable due to the soft ground conditions.

DARRAGH LEADS FROM THE FRONT

The individual most closely associated with the Kilworth Truck, Tractor & Vintage Run, is local man and mental health activist, Darragh Roche, who runs a successful haulage business. Addressing supporters prior to the run, Darragh thanked family, neighbours, friends and business associates for their ongoing support. He made a special point of thanking his wife, Amy and mother, Ber.
