A celebratory dinner to mark International Women’s Day took place in Ballindangan Hall last Monday afternoon. Hosted by members of the always active Ballindangan Monday Club, the special guest and key note speaker was Mary Martin, wife of An Taoiseach, Micheal Martin.
The club engaged the services of Mint Catering (Bulgaden Castle) to serve what was a lovely meal. The hall was full for the event, that attracted women from all over north Cork and parts of Limerick. Prior to formalities, Mary Martin, met members and chatted with guests.
