A new survey has revealed that while 90% of Irish adults feel confident in their kitchen cleaning, only 25% consistently follow key cleaning practices.
The information comes as Safefood launched its ‘Clean As You Go’ campaign.
Not following key cleaning practices leaves families vulnerable, with 64% not cleaning dishcloths every 2 days and 74% failing to wash hands before and after using mobile phones while cooking.
