It was a case of balmy Barnane for last Sunday’s annual regatta in Fermoy.
A hectic, but ultimately rewarding, day for the organisers who pulled out all the stops to faciliate rowers and members of the public.
Competitors who took to the water in the morning had the benefit of pleasantly cool conditions. However, as morning, gave way to noon and afternoon, the mercury rose.
These fine tuned athletes made light of the elements as they battled it out for a prestigious win at this very popular regatta.
