Matthew Healy would have celebrated his 8th birthday on Saturday last, 17th May. Matthew is fondly remembered by everyone who knew him and an event in his memory was held in Watergrasshill last Sunday.
The Matthew Healy Memorial Vintage Car & Motorcycle Run proved a great success – helped in no small way, by incredible weather. Gardai and local volunteers ensured the event passed off without incident.
The base for the fundraiser was the premises of McCarthy Commercials in the village, which, once again, proved ideal. Music and refreshments were all part of the package, which helped raise money for ‘Make A Wish’, a charity close to the organisers hearts.
