Reverend Clodagh Sara Yambasu was formally installed as the new Rector of Fermoy Union of Parishes at a ceremony in Christ Church, Fermoy last Sunday. Chief celebrant was the Bishop of Cork, Cloyne & Ross, The Right Reverend Paul Colton.
Addressing a congregation that included representatives from all the Christian churches, Bishop Colton wished Clodagh well with her new ministry.
“Clodagh is a well travelled and very motivated individual who I’ve no doubt will be made feel very welcome in Fermoy and the surrounding areas. Today’s ceremony has been characterised by an outpouring of goodwill towards Clodagh and her family,” Bishop Colton said.
