There has been a spate of break-ins to cars in Mitchesltown in the past few weeks with a warning going out that youngsters are using a ploy to gain access to your car.
No less than three cars were broken into at the church car park recently while a prayer night was being held.
Another car was broken into at New Square and it has been said a number of young people are working together on a ploy that means you car doesn’t lock fully.
ADVICE
The advice is to be more vigilant when locking your car as when you are distracted, someone tampers with one of the door handles on your blind side as you zap the car, leaving the vehicle open.
