A regular user of the Condonstown Toll Plaza at Watergrasshill on the M8 motorway has expressed his concerns that there is going to be ‘a near miss’ at the location, if the Express lane Southbound (to Cork) isn’t fixed.
When speaking to The Avondhu this week, the motorist claimed that the Southbound Express lane at Watergrasshill Toll Plaza has not been working efficiently for a number of years and has failed him on numerous occasions.
“I’m paying for the privilege to be able to use the Express Lane at toll plazas, but yet I am left having to cross traffic to an unmanned standard lane regularly because the Express Lane won’t function correctly.”
