Whether they are the happiest days of our lives is debatable, however, no one can deny that great friendships and some lasting memories are made during our time in school.
Invariably, classmates disperse and in some instances, it can be decades before they see each other again.
On Friday night, 30th December, Presentation Secondary School pupils who sat their Leaving Certificate examination in 1995 reunited in Walsh’s Bar, Mitchelstown.
While not all the class could make it, a good crowd turned out and needless to say, there was plenty of catching up to be done.
Several of those in attendance travelled long distances and were rewarded with a most enjoyable evening.
In a great many instances contact details were exchanged and the New Year’s resolution was to stay in touch.
Organisers wish to thank all those who responded to the invitation and to Walsh’s Bar for hosting the reunion.
