Last Sunday, we got an understanding of what racing 'behind closed doors' was like in Ballyarthur – the venue for the 2020 Kilworth & Araglin point-to-points.

A first port of call for any committee is a venue and organisers take this opportunity to thank land owner, Eleanor Broderick, for her co-operation in this regard.

While all farm land has been inundated with rain, the Carrignagroghera course (opposite Amber Service Station) held up really well.

Those associated with the horses, members of the committee, medics, vets and media representatives attended – but that was about it.
