The Mitchelstown Business Association (MBA) are set to hold a meeting this (Thursday (19th) to discuss a proposed move to force authorities to erect anti-crime cameras in the town.

At the annual general meeting of the group on Wednesday last, a small group of local business people gathered in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak. 

The group discussed a number of topics including the delay in the erection of CCTV cameras by authorities. In discussions, it was voted on to withdraw the payment of rates to Cork County Council until the problem was resolved.
