The Alzheimers Society of Ireland rely heavily on an annual ‘tea day’ to raise funds. Keen to do their bit for the cause, management and staff of Shapers Hair Salon in Mitchelstown hosted such an event on Bank Holiday Monday.

Thanks to some effective networking there was a great response. Tremendous amounts of tea were brewed and the atmosphere was good humoured for the duration of the afternoon as mainly female patrons tucked in to some lovely buns and cakes.

Supporters of the tea day were very generous and everyone contributed. Volunteers selling raffle tickets were kept busy and again thanks to the goodwill of businesses an extensive array of prizes were on offer.

Shapers Hair Salon takes this opportunity to thank all those who made last Monday such a success, the public should note that donations for the Alzheimers Society of Ireland will continue to be accepted at Shapers Hair Salon for the next week or so.
