It was a day of mixed emotions on Wednesday morning last as the outgoing principal of Presentation Primary School Fermoy, Mrs Maria Kiely waved farewell to the building, the staff and the pupils for the last time.
The celebration included a mass said by Fr Hehir who has been a huge support to Mrs Kiely and to the school over the years.
There were words of thanks said, stories shared and gifts presented to the dearly loved teacher, mentor and friend in the presence of Mrs Kiely’s family, friends and colleagues past and present.
