Rathcormac has experienced very substantial change in the last 10 years or so.

Figures from the last census indicate that the greater Rathcormac area has a population of 5,264 – significantly more that Mitchelstown’s 3,740, for instance. Against this backdrop, it’s prudent that Rathcormac plans for the future and puts in place essential infrastructure to facilitate these inhabitants.

At the forefront of this planning is Rathcormac Community Council, who are now armed with a comprehensive development plan that was launched in Scoil Bhride NS last Thursday evening.
