Planning permission for 302 residential units and a creche in Fermoy was granted by Cork County Council on Friday.
VB Developments Limited, the applicant, saw planning for the Large Scale Residential Development proposed for the Ballynamona area of the town approved late last week, having initially submitted the application in September last year.
Welcoming the development, Cllr Frank O’Flynn confirmed that it would include one, two, three and four bed units and a creche, and would see a mixture of private and social units.
