‘Peaceful protest’ due in Lismore following Valentine’s water outage

A peaceful protest is due to take place in Lismore on Sunday as residents and business owners have decided to take a stand against constant water outages in the town.

Recently, the town faced yet more devastating outages, including one on Valentine’s Day that saw local restaurants forced to cancel bookings on one of their busiest days of the year.

Farmgate Lismore, on February 14, highlighted the lack of water supply on the day, stating that it was “Yet again another devastating loss of business and disappointed customers. When will this water issue ever end in Lismore?”
