Participants sought for Cork mini marathon

St Patrick’s Community Hospital, Fermoy Fundraising Association are seeking participants for the forthcoming Evening Echo Women’s Mini Marathon

St Patrick's Community Hospital, Fermoy Fundraising Association are seeking participants for the forthcoming Evening Echo Women's Mini Marathon which takes place in Cork city on Sunday, September 28.

Interested parties are invited to run, jog or walk the event that consistently attracts thousands of people from all over Ireland and beyond.

The mini-marathon has been a huge source of funding for a variety of charities and Fermoy hospital is no exception. Those interested in taking part are asked to contact Tadhg O'Donovan on 087-6257198 or Willie Cannon on 025-33126 for further details.

The mini marathon was first stage in 1980 and attracted 300 runners - last year 10,000 women took part.
