Cappoquin cousins, Ryan, Jack and Cilian O’Connor, have set out this week on their mission to cycle across Europe in a bid to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention charities.
Flying to the Netherlands, the three young men set off on July 1, with the aim of cycling from Amsterdam to Athens, totalling around 4,000km, across 9 countries, on their bikes.
Ryan, a Cappoquin native now living in Lismore, explained that the idea came about when he and Jack were in Florida working for a few months.
