An excellent night of stand up comedy, with Bernard Casey, took place in Burncourt Community Centre last Saturday night. There was a fine crowd in attendance and food was served. Patrons had the option of bringing their own beverages, which many availed of.
The end result was a really enjoyable event that was very well received by an appreciative crowd.

NOT THE EASIEST OF PROFESSIONS

Making people laugh for a living isn’t an easy profession and anyone who takes it on has to be admired. This is what Bernard Casey has signed up for and, to date, things have been going really well. He is currently in the middle of his ‘Cute Hoorism’ tour, which is bringing him all over the country. Affable and engaging, he gave his blessing to those who invited him to Burncourt.
“It’s great to play in venues like this, we’ve had some great nights on tour and this is right up there with the best,” he said.
