New bus routes from Mitchelstown capitalise on central location

Two new bus services announced recently for Mitchelstown mean that the town is better served than ever by public transport, with daily services now available to at least six major cities and towns, as well as the connecting villages.

Services are now available to Limerick city, Cork city, Mallow, Cahir, Clonmel and Dublin, all direct from Mitchelstown and without the need to change buses.

The Local Link Route 523 between the town and Mallow kicked into action last Monday, while the new Bus Éireann 328 from Mitchelstown to Limerick City began operation in October.
