Al-Anon Family Group meetings are to take place in Fermoy Family Resource Centre each Monday going forward at 11.30am.
Alcohol abuse and alcoholism within a family affect not only the drinker but also the family members, including the children and friends. The impact on the family members is often not fully understood and priority is given to ‘curing’ the drinker.
The mental, emotional, physical and financial effects of living with a problem drinker are too much for most people.
